Golf Club

There is a Golf Club attached to Orton Meadows with membership available which enables players to be members of a recognised golf club and obtain an official club handicap which makes it easier to gain access to other golf clubs. The club is affiliated to the Cambridgeshire Area Golf Union and plays competitive matches in the various leagues. There are also matches played on a home and away basis with other golf clubs in the area, and the club runs competitions and organises social events for members.

Membership application forms are available in the Golf Shop or can be obtained from the Club Secretary. There is usually no waiting list and there is a very reasonable joining fee and an equally reasonable annual membership.
Normal green fee rates apply.

Members can book tee times 8 (eight) days ahead.

  • Will have facility for the members to post up comments, views and generally have a say and a joke with fellow members. Can be open for non-members if you wish and has facility for a lot of settings to be acheived to make the forum how you wish.. The forum can be hosted by yourselves as so does the whole site and any number of different FREE forums are available to suite your own preferences.

  Club membership

• Can contain any details for non-members as well as membership details for existing members, such as an online form for submitting membership renewels ect.

  The site can be completely set up by myself and it can have any facilities you wish once I know your needs. The site can be set up for a small fee (Qoute can be obtained once full needs are given). Hosting of the site can be done by yourself as you already have hosting at www.ortonmeadowsgolfcourse.co.uk, and all that would be needed would be a link from the existing site that is already there for the club, shown below:

  

  Maintenance of the site, once oparational can be done per week to update results or fixtures. The forum will look after itself to a certain extent and can be moderated by myself if you wish.

All I require to set up the site and moderate it is the URL or IP address, username and password of the currect site and I can make it happen. No damage or changes will be made to the existing site other than a link to this new Orton Meadows club section, which as discussed is shown above.
